Greenwise Lawn Academy was founded in 2012 by Michael Green, a third‑generation landscaper who grew up with soil under his fingernails and a deep respect for the natural world.
After spending over a decade running a commercial turf management business, Michael noticed a recurring problem: homeowners were throwing thousands of dollars at their lawns—buying expensive fertilizers, over-watering, and dumping chemicals—without understanding the basic science of what their grass actually needed.
Our Mission: To democratize turf science. We believe that with the right education, any homeowner can maintain a pristine, eco-friendly lawn without breaking the bank or harming the local ecosystem.
